It's not a selection problem. It's a scheduling problem. How this can be scheduled so soon after the previous serious is beyond me. And don't get me started on the T20 match.

Yet to be beaten at home this summer TBF. Bangas gave us a much better run - this is like an open wicket training. Can't believe Australia have discarded Doolan and Quiney for muppets like Marsh. Selectors need firing.

Haze was rested I think....Faulkner was the other injured player. Regardless, we had blokes like Kane Richardson sitting at home while we sent the biggest plodders we could find.

It's absolutely a selection problem. Why does Warner need a rest? Especially once the skipper was injured. What has Finch shown to deserve a call up over guys like say Daniel Hughes who was outstanding in the domestic OD comp and very good in the BBL as well. Why have we picked a bloke who has never played a domestic OD game? Why have we picked an all rounder who averages 23 in domestic one day cricket in Stoinis? Why rest Khawaja when you need experience?

Need I continue?

The kid was on a hiding to nothing, he's only 2 or 3 games back from an injury that has cost him most of the summer and he's never played a domestic 50 over game for his state. On what planet does that say pick me??? Chappell and Hohns are dumber and dumber.

Who the f**k is Sean Heazlett and if he can get a game for Australia having basically never played a One Day fixture does this mean we might get a shot if we put our hands up?

I don't know who Sean Heazlett is...maybe he's Sam's brother? Junior will probably pick him for the next match

Your only argument there is Heazlett. Its hard to suggest that Stoinis was a poor selection given that he actually did ok. Australia have always picked the odd player on potential/gut feeling outside of major tournaments/test series. Some will pay off. Most won't. I don't hear anyone complaining about Renshaw.

The reality is Australia just doesn't have the talent floating around in domestic cricket like we did during our dominant years when guys like Hussey, Law, Love etc could barely get a game.

I just simply think its ridiculous to squish in this tour before India. Obviously moneyed interests are involved with the IPL "window," BBL etc.
