Adam "the second Don" Voges is playing.

How can we forget about a person with a test average of over 85!!!

At 172* he cracks a 100 average in test cricket (but only 19 innings - typically 20 innings and a 1000 runs is the minimum to qualify - he has the runs)

More like Adam "the flat track bully" voges who failed when we needed him the most in the ashes the series he was specifically picked for. No amount of runs against a z grade west indies will make up for that.

Exactly.

Australia are the world champions. And the sole NZ batsman who made the ICC team of the year is out injured. Let alone Mitch McClenaghan and Tim Southee being out injured.

C'mon, Australia has got this series easy.

We have no Southee, no Taylor and not sure whether it matters much but no Mitch Mclenagainagainagain, and both McCullum and Boult under clouds

Vetorri gone from last year too, and Elliott's fluke World Cup won't continue.

You're under strength too, I am expecting 2-1, just don't know which way.

McCullum needs to dial back the fielding if he wants to play all three and the tests - I expect he will, because despite his screwed back, he's been incredibly resilient,

Bit harsh on Grunter.

He is actually due some runs. He'll be working hard, he has said he wants to play in the next World Cup. (He will be hungry too because he does not have a post playing career sorted and does not have an IPL nest egg squirreled away).

So you're missing one batsmen and one bowler.

No.

One current, and NZ's only, ICC ODI XI batsman, and two bowlers.

McClenaghan was enjoying a great home summer, and has leapt in ICC rankings way ahead of Tim Southee in both T20 and ODI.

His nickname is McLeakin runs, because he normally is the most expensive bowler, somehow he started becomming regularly the most economical, while still snagging wickets. Hopefully he is fit and firing for the WCT20 - he will be a surprise package for Straya.

Starc is statistically one of the best odi bowlers ever in an era where the deck is stacked against bowlers. He is a bigger loss than all of your losses put together. Just look at starcs odi record ffs

One batsmen and two bowlers - nothing really out of the ordinary there. I'd really like for Australia to only be down two bowlers at the moment.

Woo, touchy

Yeah, I am no fan of Mitch, but he'd actually shown some intelligence to his bowling this summer, so is a loss tbh
