Best teams in the tournament by far...
The low, slow pitches haven't helped them in anyway, all they've done is provide us with a snooze fest with little or no surprises, except for maybe the Kiwi's beating South Africa.

Agree 100% with Matt23. Cricket in the sub-continent is as boring as it gets with their sh*t pitches and 5 spinners per game making this world cup one unbelievable snooze fest. My interest in this world cup is over after the last of the good guys was eliminated last night.

Huge myth that this WC has been all about the spinners. 8 of the top 12 wicket takers are medium pacers/fast bowlers.

Agreed

The soil & clay make-up in the subcontinent isn't condusive to lively tracks. That's how it's been since day dot. I don't see how that contributes to a snooze fest.

It's the measure of a world class player to get the most out of the conditions they play in. For me blokes reading it out of the hand while watching flighted balls drift, dipp, and pitch on middle and off, only to offer a leave given they know that they're either doosra's or leggie's is just as good as a swing & seam bowler asking serious questions of the opposition on green tops - they both take skill?

Elaborate? Why do you consider NZ 'good guys' and Lanka/India not?

Got it. I figured it would've been a pretty sh!t house reason. If it IS because of the above then it's confirmed.
