If it was a friendly/exhibition match like the Warne-Tendulkar All-Stars series or a charity match, yeah, do whatever the hell you want. However, these are not friendly/exhibition matches; these are internationals that count towards players records/statistics and are part of a tournament (3 T20I series). Mic'ing up the players detracts from the professionalism of the event, and hence why I'm no fan of it. They don't do this in tests or ODIs, and neither should be it be done in T20's, including the BBL.

Maybe if they werent talking to him as the ball was being bowled he wouldn't get out like that....

I could see Brad Hodge got frustrated during the BBL semi-final where the commentators kept trying to talk to him whilst organising field placements for Khawaja, and the commentators got the message when he started to look cranky and didn't interview him for the remainder of the match.
