There is no rationale. It was a pathetic decision by a pathetic captain.

What if today was washed out or half the day was washed out???

what if England got 650 had he enforced the follow on?

If they got 650 batting on a third/4th day pitch with those cracks, then they deserve to win or draw the game.

As it turns out we are going to win by about 400 runs. Stupid decision and could have cost us the game if the weather turned nasty

Aside from the lucky wicket off the poor delivery, how bad is Brett Lee going? Seriously overrated as a test bowler IMO...he just continually gets caned for 4 RPO and his returns of 1-51 and 1-90 odd are pretty much the norm vs England.

If Aus play two spinners and the all-rounder then it is Lee not Clarke that should go.

I agree doesn't look threatening at all. Should be a lot more threatening with the new ball but has looked anything but.

Yawn. Atleast he tries to get people out, rather than bowling some of the worst balls ever bowled in test cricket. Like one Steve Harmison.

Is Lee the most over-rated bowler in test cricket???

Why is he bowling now?

Why is he in the team?

Will he be tonked for 100 as quickly than Harmison was?

His last over showed why - it was a good length, only 1 run then the next over from the other end -ooh ahh

Lee has been more expensive in RPO terms than Harmison was in either innings

Can the Poms avoid a 5-0 drubbing?

Looks like it

Hes more threatening with the new ball swinging

Performed well last season

Not now

He needs to get back to that form when he first entered he was such an exciting bowler to watch now it's just painful.
