Yep got to say Broad bowled very well. Johnson got a beautiful ball.

As has been the case since the later half of Ponting reign, either Clarke or the tail make the runs.

Getting 20 wickets has also been an issue.

Watson,, Hughes, Rogers, Cowan and to a lesser extent Warner and Smith have largely been failures.

Our Bowling fails to get 20 wickets. So many out of action, and no spinner.

England's day. 8 wickets on a pitch that looks to have plenty of runs in it is a good result for them. Excellent fight back by Notch and Flipperhands. Broad took 5 and deserved them but Anderson passed the edge plenty of times.

Hopefully Flipperhands can steer the tail towards 350 which might be par. Anything below that is disappointing.

Did well to get through to stumps, we have lost about 3 wickets to many but after being 6 for just over 100 we will take it. Cooks Negative captaincy has helped get us back in the game.

bit of bounce in the deck still, we could skittle them for well under 200 IF we all bowl well and in the right zones, our 3 pace bowlers are probably man to man 10-15km/hr faster. Doesn't mean much is we bowl crap though, but if we get it right, we could cause havoc

I am expecting a 50-100 first innings lead tbh..
