Not always true, 4 was the position of the likes of G Chappell, Crowe, Border (4 at his peak)... depends...

I reckon normally Clarke should bat 4, and if conditions favour spin like they do now, then 3...

Yep in India he should be a lock for the number 3 spot.

I'm not usually one to dwell on these sorts of things, but I agree this match is considerably closer than it looks. Its not over either if somebody can bat with Clarke and then the Australian quicks find something special in the fourth innings.

I don't know want to harp on it..but the commentators are saying Kleenex's drop was was the fielding coach's fault, not the fielders.. For f**ks sake
