This Mark Craig has less then the offie i treated with disdain at Indoor last night.

I see your point, but in Craig's defense though, at least he's turning the ball more than Richard "Dickie" Dawson that came out here during the 2002/03 Ashes. His "off-breaks" were gun-barrel straight.

Craig needs to pitch it up and flight the ball a bit more. Otherwise, he won't be threatening Australia's batsmen during this tour.

Dawson famous for getting spanked of the last ball of the day on Steve Waughs famous ton. He made Peter Such look like Jim Laker at Old Trafford in 56.

where is that f**kwit Locky

wonder how much he had on Oozie getting a ton ?

disappointing day for fans really, I dont remember anyone doing this on the Gabba in recent years on day 1, I thought this would be much closer

I guess we'll get a better idea of the pitch when we see the Kiwis bat.

I thought Boult and Southee looked good early but I guess the workload got to them, they really need better support bowlers imo.

Impressive first day we survived the first session and went on with the job. Didn't like the selection of Burns as an opener and I had some question marks over Khawaja but both proved me wrong they played superbly.

Let's get on with it tommorow

Craig got a fair bit of drift and a bit of turn, he could yet be useful as the test goes on.

It's times like this that I wish Ch9 still had their late-night highlights package at 11:30pm, like what I used to see when I first started watching cricket 20 years ago.
