Call it early much?

Looks likely though, sounds like more sh*t bowling from Australia

This is a good test match pitch. Bat well and you will score runs. Bowl consistently on the right length and you will get wickets.

Thus far the batsmen are batting well with a ounce of luck.

While the bowlers are bowling without consistency whatsoever.

Hopefully Lyon will now bring some to our bowling attack

Yep, hopefully they throw the ball to Nath before too long. How is Starc looking, I'm getting the impression he could be a Johnson-type bowler? God help us if he is..

I Remember the days Oz were the best fielding side in the world, have they become shocking over night?

Thats the one part of our game which I'm confident in!

NZ really clawing way back into the game. 300 would be a great score and I really think they will get it from here (5/225).

he looks it doesn't he... except he looks like he'll swing the ball reliably, rather than once every 3 years

thanks god NZ are showing some grit... as above Taylor should be ashamed... McCullum, Guptil and Ryder very disappointed

Can't believe Vettori hasn't made a 100 against us, I seem to remember him scoring quite a few runs against us.

I think he has in ODI's, but not so much in Tests.

Really nice partnership this, getting us back in the game.

Vettori loves batting against the subcontinent teams. 5 of his 6 centuries have been against India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The other century is against Zimbabwe.

Yep, but apart from England and Windies (low 20's) his average is approx 30 against every other country (incl Aust) - and for the last 4 years or so he's averaged about 40... pretty solid

FFS watching that non catch was painful. I'd rather we have a Gillespie-Waugh multiple broken bones situation because both players went for it instead of what we saw there with both players in a stareing contest.
