The wicket is not a smooth batting track, not a 4 RPO deck. Pakistan need to score 550 to put themselves in front in this game (bucklies), That will take them well into day 4. There is no Afridi no Razzaq in the Pakistan lineup to quicken that score and put them in a position to win. Australia will want to be bowl on the last day anyway, to take advantage of Hauritzl skittling the Pakistanis and give bowlers a rest

Australia by 75-125 runs

Pretty much. His bowling has been a real surprise actually, he's always been too good with the bat for State level but his bowling was pretty military in the past. This reverse swinging Watson has been something of a revelation

Dont blame 9, blame the Aussie team and their constant failure to bowl their alloted overs on time even after the extra half an hour, dont forget stumps is actually 5:30

Didnt see the last hour yesterday but I believe that Pakistan were on track to bowl the 90 overs on day 1 by around 5:40, they have no trouble with over rates

Channel 9 could have waited a couple more overs Although, you're right, I was really pleased with Pakistan's bowling perfectly to the minimum over rate, they got in 30 overs each session, on time. I find the poor over-rate a genuine problem ... *resists urge to rant about it ...*

Would have been interesting what their over rate would have been like had they pulled their finger out and took some simple catches and a handfull more wickets fell. Only 3 wickets for the day plus their spinner bowling a ton of overs, and they still went over time ;-)

day 2, they bowled 28 overs in the first session today. Again only 1 wicket was lost

Its a nice, warm and fuzzy feeling to be prompt with over rates ...in particular when your getting bend over, well done Pakistan keep it up for the rest of the series

I have so many peeves about it, I would write a friggin essay and I feel like I would be getting fired up for no reason ... but it is bad for the game and makes it (particularly test cricket) less popular with the younger generations, blah blah blah, etc etc ... I am going to shut up before I get really fired up about it...

The Pakis look pretty average, Khan is a massive loss, someone like Razzaq or Rana Naved would have to be a better option than Rauf Mouth.
