To be fair to Oozi after he got dropped there was a month of the Big Beat off, hardly the best play to recapture your best form. And if he had of been kept who knows he could have hammered that crappy Indian attack. I mean the whole side looked like world beaters.
Agree with that, Punter certainly was lucky he's been brilliant 2-3 years earlier to get given another shot and get that indian side

devo about not getting any play today, definitely don't want to play my dumb T20 tomorrow.

I think even with the loss of a whole day, and being down to ten men for the rest of the match, South Africa should still be pretty confident for a victory here

Well Peter Forrest has also gone to Queensland but has stated on record that he'll still be cheering for the Blues in Origin. In fact didn't his old play play for the Sharks?

weather is no different this morning, been pissing down all night

So, you will be saved from humiliation ?

There was a story on our national news the other day about how the Aussies were going to get under Amla's skin using his religion. Clark thought it was a hell of a joke.

What happened  ??

The weather has changed significantly actually, it's still overcast at the moment but on the Radar there is very minimal rain around and it's meant to clear by late morning into a fine day, not to mention the Gabba has a phenomenal drainage system.

I think we'll start on time today, or very close to it.

Excellent news.

As forecast, brightening up brilliantly this morning. There was a fair bit of drizzle and light rain when I started my run this morning at about 5:30, but I saw some blue sky and even some sunshine a couple of hours later by the end of my run.

Radar looks promising and those weather forecasters have been absolutely spot on the last few days and the forecast looks great the next three days.

By the way,

Absolutely superb innings by Khawaja yersterday.
18 wickets fell for about 400 on a seamer friendly wicket and Khawaja was the only player to get above 50.

He scored 138 off only 178 balls (though that must be wrong since Locky assures us he scores slowly)

Read some some stuff that his inning really impressed the men that matter.

I text messaged my coach and I told him I was still feeling sick, but would play if needed. So I should be watching cricket all day today.

I do work for the club so no one can feel badly about me or my commitment to the club I somehow have only played one match this season for

cricket South Africa posted this picture on Twitter half an hour ago, I think we're looking good to start at the 9:30 scheduled start
