I think hilfy needs to go until he gets his pace up a bit
he was bowling high 130s vs India last year. That extra yard of pace was a massive difference. Seems to have gone back to sub 130, which is ineffective and usless, might as well get in Copeland
Must give a huge wrap to Amla and South African selectors.
Amla had a pretty much horrible start to his career. Didn't get his average above 30 until his 16th test. I even remember thinking he was fairly ordinary, though with potential. But the selectors stuck with him and he bloomed into one of the best batsmen today.
Australian selectors can take note of how the South Africans stuck with Amla in the early stages of his career. If he was Australian, I doubt the Australian selectors would have had the patience.
Well done Amla, good to see the Aussies congratulating him. A lot of my white Saffa mates whinge constantly about the race selection policies of SA, but how can you not justify his selection in the side?
Wade is really poor form with the gloves so far, that "drop" in the Pattinson over was regulation stuff, imagine if the batsmen had got a nick on it.
