Weren't you just saying Siddle's bowling is pathetic?:?
It could be like changing your name from Manly to Kaspersky???What's a bully bandwagon? Is that like changing your allegiances from the knights to Manly?
Band Wagon.Slow mo grin of Philly J, BM is off to have another wank
What? None of this matches the reality of this test and even this innings.I can't justify the hate directed at Lyon.
He's not a world class offie, but he's bowled well given he's had next to no f**king support from the keeper or the bowler at the other end.
Furthermore, this game could've been over if Hilfenhaus was out there. He's averaged just a tick over 21 this calendar year alone and can tie down an end, which is exactly what Lyon needs to get wickets.
If batsmen can pick off easy runs against the quicks, then they don't need to take risks and chance their arm against the slow bowlers like Lyon, so they just hit the bad ones and block everything else.
Call em thumpers...i don't care:lol:It could be like changing your name from Manly to Kaspersky???
I stopped reading at 'reality' and started laughing. What? None of this matches the reality of this test and even this innings.
The quicks have taken all 6 wickets between the 3 of them in this innings.
Starc has bowled at a run rate of 2.09, Siddle at 1.88 and Watson at 2.16.
It's a 5th day pitch.
What more does Lyon need to be effective?
Your argument has been dismantled as complete rubbish and that's your comeback. Good on ya.I stopped reading at 'reality' and started laughing.
Look, Phil Hughes has his pants down :arrow:Your argument has been dismantled as complete rubbish and that's your comeback. Good on ya.
The quicks have been accurate, they haven't leaked runs, it's a 5th day pitch that is wearing down and Lyon still can't get a wicket.
This is a spinners primary job. To help us get to the win here and he's not doing it.
Same as in Adelaide.
If he can't do that we might as well play four fulltime quicks and use Warner for variety because that's all Lyon is at this point.
