I'm sure Cricket Australia will be licking their lips at the projected crowds for Melbourne and Sydney.

If Warney thinks 65k will turn up on Boxing Day, he's gotta be joking. The Boxing Day test could well end up with one of the lowest day 1 (Boxing Day) attendances.

This is worse than you'd expect from a team that has been demoralised in the first four tests of the series and just want to go home. And it's day 1 of the Series FFS.

They might do a bolter like what they did when they played in India:lol:

I have a group of mates who I traditionally go to day 2 of the SCG test with. Texts have been flying everywhere today - we aren't paying the ridiculous amount that CA want for tickets to watch this crap. We're thinking BBL instead.

These are sad times when you pick the big wank over test cricket, not that I blame you.

Go to the ODI v India.

BBL is a great night out but it's all over in a few hours not including drinks before-hand. The Irish pub at Fox Studios is pretty good before a Sixers game.

For a hundred bucks or so, my two sons and I have tickets to all the Thunder games and it gives us reciprocal rights to Sixers game at SCG too.

And I get free parking in Olympic precinct, it's sweet.

Still got tickets for the traditional outing for Day 1 at SCG though. f**k me if they weren't a rort though. Have to pay for that bridge over ANZAC Pde and the redevelopments somehow, I guess.

Tim foil hat time.

Cricket Australia deliberately scheduled the Windies to play in Australia during the holiday period full well knowing they would offer little in the way of a contest in order to get the BBL some extra exposure.

f**k me even Shaun Marsh scored a 100 which highlights how rubbish this West Indies side is.

How about on the ticketek website it says tickets for General Administration are 'from' $17.
Then of course you click on that and it's the kids price, with Adults $50...

the record of 350k for a MCG attended test match wont likely be under threat then?
