Watson a duck gee what a surprise.

Same thing kept happening when he was tried there for QLD in the longer format.

Kid does not pick himself, the kid does not bat himself at opener. He will make a decent number 5 or 6, but opening when he has clearly failed there before is foolish.

Rickys manlove fails Australia yet again.

Most of the Sunshine hate is due to giving it to our clueless selectors and Locky of course. Got no problem with Sunshine in the team but at opener is a joke. Blind Freddie can see
his glaring technical problems except the selectors.

Good session of test cricket this. I hope the Windies keep hanging in there and make this a good competitive series.

Looked high, it passed over the stumps without much interference from the pad but like I said, you don't play a shot and you deserve to be fired. Bring back Phil Hughes

Well he wasn't playing a shot so that was asking for trouble

Punter brings up his 50 with a 6.

Brendon Nash stands out like a saw thumb.

Also to those saying Watson was dudded. Keep in mind he wasn't playing a shot.

I really liked the Windies bowling at the start of the session but gee they fell away at the end

25 overs in a session is very poor, they'll need to speed it up abit

good batting from Kat and Punter, could be a very long day for the Windies, the wicket will get better to bat on this arvo and we may have to play till about 7 o'clock if they dont speed up their over rate

The did fall away didn't they. Not good for the series. If they'd have picked up another 2 cheap wickets they'd have been all over us, but two pros in Kat and Punter just hung in there until they got a loose one and then made em pay. If these two get going again after lunch they'll bat the Windies out of it on day one.
