So at the end of the day we're effectively 4/298. I'll take it.
Hopefully tomorrow we score another 50 runs at least, would love even more, but can't expect too much given we have the worlds longest tail.
Great job from Smithy, having a real captains knock, even if aided by some drops, but you take what you get.
Even Mitch Marsh is somehow still there. Do miracles happen?

Lock MMarsh in for the next 100 tests.

And we still have Wade to come, check mate Team India.
Our super duper secret weapon Mitch "Levers" Marsh is rested up and ready for a match winning spell of bowling tomorrow. He's been wrapped in Cotton wool so far, ready to be unleashed... or something.

None sense, he will surpass Brian Lara's 400 tomorrow

The bowling will come day 4

What a day! Great stuff.

O'Keefes style was always gonna be suited to these wickets, although you are still facing some of the best batsmen in the world. So great to see a bit of success for him. Having a lefty against all those righties is good as well.

Steve Smith doing a great job as well. It will be tough to chase anything over 300 so we are very well placed. Time not a factor, just bat and bat and bat

Fantastic day of test cricket for the Aussies. We should win the test from here but a few things... Mitch Marsh can do enough to earn himself another test if he can get a 60-70 from here and bat smith to 100. That will put us into an almost unbeatable position. But regardless, Shaun Marsh has to face the axe after this... Khawaja deserves a chance to prove himself given the form he is in. And SOK wow! He has basically picked himself for the series now with those figures. After stumps day 1 I cannot believe we are 300 odd ahead only 4 down. It's our game to lose now! Maybe this will teach them from putting up disgraceful test wickets

The only downside of being in the pub watching SOK dismantle the Indians last night was not being able to hear Warnie cringe. Funny thing is, everyone else said the same thing, his agendas are well know by everyone, he makes it so obvious.

The only thing worse than Darsh's batting was India's fielding, god I hope we can replace him with Oozie in the next test. Its not just the fact that he failed, he never looked like scoring when he was out there.

Kerry O'Keefe was on the radio this morning, declaring that the match was as good as won by Australia.

I'm not so confident - there's no way India capitulate like they did in their first dig, and we still have heaps of time left in the Test.

However, if we get close to a 400-run lead, with about a day and a half's play left, then I'd be quietly confident.

But as it stands, imo, we have a lot of work still left to do.

Old mate Warne going on about how Agar would be a better pick than O'Keefe. Nek Minnit...

Seriously that bloke has had way too much say in your selections. I has a Victorian or the month award and generally they get picked. And destroyed.
