Helluva manly man knock from Cam Green. Of course back in the good old days he'd have been beaten with a horse blanket for having a baby face like that

Green’s ton saves Australia, but NZ’s day- in that I think they’ll be happier taking 9 wickets than Australia will be in scoring 279 and losing them.

In saying that, the true state of the game is about even and Australia will bowl today, which is where they threaten to pull ahead. We’ll need to bat well to pull up to them.

I want it put this out there:
Mitchell Marsh: 38 tests, 1854 runs @ 31.28, 3 centuries, 8 fifties. 47 wickets.

Cameron Green: 24 tests, 1075 runs @ 33.59, 2 centuries, 6 fifties. 30 wickets.

One of these players is a fraud who somehow weaseled his way back into the team.

I think yesterday’s innings showed Green has been batting too low. He’s been a top order batter his whole career and not really a counter attacker which you need at 6.

I think they really need to give him a good run with the position. It was a world class innings on a difficult deck. I reckon it’s an even test atm but the BOAT might be the difference maker. The ball that got out Paddy kept a little low a spun a bit.

NZ are mentally fragile when it comes to us with the bat.

They really need 1 out of there big 3 guns in Kane, Ravindra & Mitchell to go big and another to support.

As i see NZ being 2 down pretty cheaply with Latham & Young not really threatening us and exposing those 3 early.

Bison Mk II averages over 50 since being back in the test side. Deserves his place, played some awesome knocks in this time
