Well on his way to 200 test wicket. Somehow.

It's like he does something that makes people forget how to play a short ball. Or like he constantly takes batsmen by surprise, despite knowing 100% what his plan will be every time.

I've never seen anything like it from any other bowler.

Some mysteries are better off left unsolved. Sit back and enjoy the Swag of Wag.

I think with Wagner it’s that he’s about 5kph slower than you think he’s going to be. Batsmen always seem to slightly mistime their shots against him.

Even that, batsmen can and should adjust to more than they seem to.

He's just an enigma

He's just awkward somehow, and people are intent on attack

Think the focus on radar readings is pointless too - his pace is enough, and the short balls don't lose any... you don't have to bowl 145 to be effective...

I don't get it, at all, but it unquestionably works, incredibly consistently and apparently against pretty much everyone - they keep talking about Asian bats not playing bounce well, but literally everyone has fallen for it

There does seem to be a recurring piece of commentary about Wagner that he's lethal against subcontinent players which I don't get at all - he's bounced his way to michelle's against the Windies, us and the Proteas (in South Africa even) and has a 4-fer against England.

I'd be interested to see a helmet-cam view of him bowling from a batsman's perspective because there just must be something about his delivery that makes players who usually hook and pull very well fall apart.

100 for Raval - well done, and a big relief for him I am sure - he's consistently made starts, now the monkey is off the back, hopefully he can follow through against better teams

Helluva list that one, not one Ian Chappell in sight.

Sanga’s what a player.
