Im stoked for the Kiwis!!! Great effort!!! While the kiwis on balance deserved the win, they were a little lucky in the end. If there was drs, the conclusion of the match could well have been different.

Excellent to get there in the end :D Wagner excellent - great attitude.

We have one of the better attacks going around ATM - just need a spinner to compliment them.

What about Dhoni's sook there!

Mate they scored 500 and knocked you over for 200 - give some credit where credits due dickhead. No wonder everyone hates Indian cricket.

Honestly, would have given Wagner man of the match. His spells in the second dig changed the game.

Yeah it's a tough one. McCullum's knock was something special tbh coming in at 30/3 but yeah, Wagner's spell at the end there was also something special so either way, I felt both would have been worthy winners.

What a win! Got a bit dicey there but the boys stuck at it, proud of their scrapping abilities and Wagner personifies it, his spell just before tea changed the game.

Wagner vs McCullum for MOTM was tough, in the end I agree with McCullum though. Took us from 30/3 to 500, completely set us up for the rest of the game.

McCullum MOTM was fair enough, he did come in at 3 for 30 and left them with 500 after being set in is what won them the game.

Frick me, Dhoni having a cry and Indians on Cricinfo slashing their nuts about all things umpiring. Typical and, as usual, not much to like about Indian Cricket.

Where's Joe. Rutherford can't bat, can't field. Surprised this doesn't rate a mention but he is a horrible fielder too.
Right here. :)

Was at the game for the first two sessions today. Managed to pick the most boring two sessions of a very exciting game to take the kids to. Watching Rutherford live on the field his main job in the team seems to be ball shiner. Also seemed to drop or fumble the ball most times it went through his hands from keeper to bowler.

Umpiring was usual standard IMO, the lbw was a DRS issue, the no-balls - Watling and Dhoni - not convinced that was a no ball anyway, are not DRS issues, just poor umpiring - tbh Watling's was atrocious, and I think he (Davis, who is abysmal) called the next ball a no ball and it was less of a no-ball - either he wasn't watching the one before, or he's a dick who decided not to check...

But, all in all, a great test... enjoyed it thoroughly, and of course we won! :) Like the one last year against the Poms, riveting stuff... now, to find two opening bats and a spinner -wonder if Taylor can play the next one...

We've gotta back the openers for the next test at the very least. Whoever comes in isn't going to do a better job as has been shown in the past so for once we have to show some loyalty at the top.

Maybe another seamer in for the next test for Sodhi? Unfortunately it looks as if our next 3 seamers are all injured (Bracewell, Bennett and Henry). Sodhi does need to go back to Domestic cricket and learn his trade, but I'm not sure who we'll bring in.

Yeah but fair play to Rahane for accepting the decision and walking off.
It would have been pretty easy to spit the dummy considering the state of the game and the fact that he hasn't cemented his position in the team.

Given he was dead LBW for a low score in the first innings and given not out, he would be a massive hypocrite if he acted any other way. That said he is an Indian cricketer

We'll done Wags. Cometh the hour cometh the man. Southee, Boult and Wagner are potentially world class. Serious doubts though about the openers and Sodhi is horrendous. 10 more overs of him and India would have coasted in.

All in, great fight and a fantastic win, great feeling this. Tier 2? Go and knot yourself. The subbies are horror shows away from the subcontinent. Egg on their faces
