Hughes made a century 1 test ago and people are calling for his head...fmd. Steve Waugh would never have had a career if some of you blokes were selectors back in the 80s.

Just about every other batsman in this test beyond Clarke has played poorly. Let's not condemn a bloke for 1 poor game in average conditions.

He should get and will get our summer where the pitches should be more friendly toward the bat. I'm sure he'll cash in then.

Yes...cash in on the flat pancake wickets in Australia, he has poor footwork, fantastic eye, but if the ball is moving....he is useless.

Batsman are so spoiled these days, they play on a wicket with a bit in it and they go to pieces. Give me AB or S Waugh any day to these pampered softcocks.

Sounds like Marsh is very doubtful to bat. His injury is becoming a worry and he is our 2nd best batsmen atm. Funny enough the selectors "you aren't fit enough to play test cricket" hasn't applied to Marsh.
