Well done saffas, held out good captain knocks both sides. Only one side bowled and caught well enough

I didn't think Siddle was that bad in the second innings. He certainly started well and troubled the batsmen early in both spells.

Johnson was just pure crappola.

While Siddle might not have been bad, he like most of our bowlers didn't do enough with the ball. We essentially have the same attack which got smoked by the English.

Tr but at the end of the day if our batsmen don't do their job it is near impossible for the bowlers to do their job successfully.

Siddle and Shitchell 2/152 between them this test.....
Philander and Steyn 15/156 between them.....
If I had to choose between siddle the fiddle and Mitch the bitch I'd take siddle because although he doesn't have the talent of Johnson he f**kIng puts in, both with the ball and bat. Without siddle's guts in the 2nd innings we would have been rolled for less than 30, the so called all rounder once again gave up his wicket without a fight. Then with the ball siddle at least bent his back the other f**kwit once again just rolled his arm over.

Both blokes shouldn't be in the Australian side but I'd take the guy with ticker over the left handed gumby any day of the week.

As for steyn - a great fast bowler. Like McGrath and Ambrose before him takes wickets on all surfaces and steps up when is needed.

I was happy enough to support Siddle retaining his place as he did the job in his last test and in the fc games whereas Copeland had taken 1 wicket since SL. It wasn't a terrible decision at all.

BUT...

f**king Shitzell must surely have his papers stamped? I mean come on. 13 wickets at 54 since Perth? And the rpo is only saved by the slow Lankan scoring. This is from a guy who was dropped (or should I say always going to be rested?) after Brisbane for bowling some of the most appalling shit in the history of appalling shit.

This useless prick has hung on for 2 years as people lost their minds crapping on about how he bowled in South Africa. Well that's it, I've been over the merkin for years, but I will be cheering on the opposition until the selectors mark his papers. They obviously want the opposition to win when they select the cat so why shouldn't I? f**k off Mitchell Johnson and don't ever come back. (and take Ricky with you - its over)

Well I am just so relieved that you managed to survive such a traumatic ordeal and that you can continue posting about your beloved adopted team. It would be an absolute tragedy if you were to leave this earth after watching such a game of test match cricket. Thank the good lord you're ok.
You're not normal Monkey.

I agree with most of the things said by he anti-Johnson brigade, but I really can't see him losing his spot. People just won't stop crapping on about what he is capable of on the South African wickets after what he did there last time, so he will get selected again for that reason alone.

No I was laughing at your stupidity you utter, utter dumbarse.
An idiot could see that our Batsmen and bowlers were crap and Clarke's captaincy was poor, look at the f**king result for evidence.

You utter, utter dumbarse.

lol

Please, stop posting. Your entire knowledge of cricket could be written down on a 1ply sheet of toilet paper with a marker pen.
hahaha. I don't agree with you simplistic moronic views, which are that of the rest of the herd, thus I must be stupid. You're so bereft of cricket knowledge, you have to agree with the status quo to feel included.

I've got more knowledge on cricket than you will ever have. You just sprout the same shit everyone else does.

Even if you could write all my cricket knowledge on a 1ply sheet of toilet paper, it'd be more than you could write about your knowledge.

I could shit all over the paper, and on the tiny 2mm sq of untarnished paper, I would still have too much room for your cricket knowledge.

However the rest of the paper would be full of your opinion though.

Ponting gone - A shadow of the batman he used to be

Hughes gone - Technique just isn't up to it. Needs to go back to Shield Cricket for a couple of years at least

Haddin gone - Comes down the wicket at 5/18 and plays that?! Out of form and at age 34 it is not exactly the best time to lose touch

Johnson gone - Reasons posted by others. I will just add Shithouse (which I am sure has been posted as well)

Also let's go back to us bowling out SA for 96. Now take a look at what their bowlers did to us after their batsmen pathetic display. 21/9 that's all you need to know. Now fast forward to us, let's take the Boxing Day test where we made 98, 2 runs more than what SA did. How did our bowlers respond to that? Well you have the scorecard. The same applies to this match.

I know the bowlers are a problem but I believe the batting is a much much bigger problem at the moment. Changes in the bowling should still happen .

Given we are looking at changing 50% of our bowling attack with the other 25% still up in the air I would say that is equally as big a problem as the batting.
