Selectors should come out and say Zampa was close to initial selection and was next in line

However due to his little puplic spat, they decide to stamp his papers

Love to see Zampas follow up reaction after that 😁

Yeah give him the Kalyn Ponga treatment.

If not for being a twerp I'd pick him. Swepson seems to be on the outer and a leggie would be a refreshing change from orthodox. I'm fanging for a Chinamen.

Good news everyone...

I was surprised to find out that the tour of Sri Lanka will be televised on Channel 7...first time since the 1997 tour of South Africa that a non-Ashes test series will have live FTA coverage:

I forgot all about Lloyd Pope, wow that early hype has resulted in nothing, a first class average over 50 🫣

I think they mentioned on the radio that Kuhnemann broke the thumb. He's definitely had an op on it.

Smidge has an elbow injury too and may not take part.

Seems Australia may need another body or two over there.

That's great news, I dont think a test series in either Sri Lanka, India or Pakistan has ever been on FTA live.

No was definitely on Fox Sports then, even though Ch 9 commentators Tony Grieg and Ian Chappell were calling.

I think the 1998 series was shown on ch 9 but only highlights

Why is the team training in Dubai for this series when they could just train at Engie Stadium for similar conditions?
