I assume this will be stumps
Rain, Fangs or ParraboyReckon the rain is the only thing stopping one of these two making a massive score (250+).
I think the Ashes will be where it ends.Mr Khawaja's previous high score is 195*, so a big chance of overtaking that and getting a 200 here.
Ashes is the aim for Khawaja, and possibly beyond.
He should but he's not absolute about it.I think the Ashes will be where it ends.
His 100 yesterday gets him there now i suspect with just 1 more test here, WTC final and 3 x West Indies.
He will be 39 come the Boxing day test and lets be honest he looked old & past it on these juicy wickets here in Australia Bumrah or no Bumrah.

Saw an interview with Darren Lehman were he said he got the tap to quit when they were playing against Pakistan and he knew he couldn't do it anymore as shoaib akhtar was just too quick for him at that age
Hated Catholics but boy could he bat. All time great athlete.
and what a lot of people easily forget is that he Don did it on uncovered pitches

He would have averaged 200 against his eras bowlers on modern pitches.
I reckon professional bowlers would be a different issue but you can never say. He'd probs only make it to Don Voges heights
He used to piece of driftwood that weighed 2 pound ounces and wore gardener's gloves. I'm sure he would of done just fine now aday's.Imagine him using a Kookaburra Kahuna Pro bat where even nicks go for 6.
