The Melbourne away jersey looks just like the supporter T shirt.

It is the worst jersey in NRL history. Nearly as bad as this years Widnes jersey.

And what happened to the collar? Bloody news limited....intent to make all their clubs look rediculous.

We're changing supplier from Canterbury to Reebok, which prompted the design change. stupid goddam frickin reebok designers can't come up with anything better. Check out the Storm forum down below and you'll see several storm jersey designs that would put their designer to shame.

Supposedly several players requested for no collars on the jersey. I still can't think of a reason why the jersey can't be like manly's (i think it was) with the half collar.

Btw Matt M, you're not supposed to post that pic here without explicit permission from Rugby Fever.

My gosh... That jersey is shocking. I could give a 3 year old kid some crayons and they could draw something better than that.

The Warriors should change their jersey to commemorate their 10th year in the competition. But I haven't heard anything.

I might be getting a bit nostalgic here, but they should go back to their inaugural strip for this upcoming season. And then spend shitloads on fireworks before every game and the drums, bring them back too!!!!

Melbourne finally get a decent alternate jersey ... and they get rid of it. Idiots.
It looks like someone decided to design it in Microsoft Publisher.

And the Warriors had their 10th season this year ... same as the Cowboys.

I'd love to see the Knights return to their 1995-1996 jersey (similar to their Henny Penny one, but with a collar and slightly more red on the jersey), but I read a while ago that the NRL wants to keep those 'traditional' jerseys for special occasions, so I don't think it's gonna happen. It's a shame ... it's the best looking jersey in history in my opinion.

I agree with the majority of NRL fans ... League jerseys NEED COLLARS. Even those tiny ones the English Superleague have.

Melbourne dead set has the worst colour scheme and now the worst jerseys in the NRL. No woonder they find it so hard to attract new supporters. Purple, Gold and a sort of pink? :?

Knights should we.ar the jersey they wore to the openig of Suncorp stadium as their home jersey

Melbourne's colours themselves are not bad colours. They do work together well ... if done correctly. Their first alternate jersey was that yellow thing. Yuck.
Their next one was that light-ish purple one that I've dubbed 'the lollypop' for some reason. Hmmm.
Then they get the one they had last season (and 2003 as well? I don't think so but I may be wrong). MUCH better!
Now they go and stuff it up again.

That's the jersey I'd love 'em to bring back permanently (except that it needs a collar), but I don't think they're allowed to. Their alternate jersey could be the one they've used in the past couple of World Sevens tournaments. Since the World Sevens has been axed, they won't be needing them anymore. Once again, it needs a collar.

Its ridiculous that you can't go back to the old jerseys. Whoever thought this was a good idea must have been drunk at the time.

I don't really mind if jerseys have collars or not. I'm actually starting to like the no collar jerseys a bit more. But it really doesn't matter at all to me.

Does that mean you wouldn't care if the Manly 'jersey' next year turned into a $180.00 glorified T Shirt? :x
