Iam amazed at evrybody thinking the tigers will be cellar dewlers in 2007. 2006 was a year when injuries hit them hard and to key players,it also was the year they couldnt get a call go their way in the tight games. In saying this they missed the play offs by one win and beat both brisbane and melbourne pretty well.
The question mark will be the front row,but i see them top eight and maybe top four

Thankyou. Finally someone with something intelligent to say. I cannot believe so many people thinks the tigers will finish in the bottom three. As mentioned by Super_coach the tigers had injuries and bad luck go there way yet finished 2 wins out of the top 8.

Believe me the tigers will be back next year. We cant have 2 years of rotten luck:pray:

I'm not confident of your chances but i do concede that if there's a team out there likely to come from no where to make a big impression, it's definitely you guys.

especially with the sort of talent coming through at your club.
Gotta love the talent in the juniors out our way. Eels and Panthers are just rolling in talented juniors

Harold Matthews - Panthers
SG Ball - Panthers
Jersey Flegg - Panthers
Premier League - Eels

I think our team will finish between 6th and 8th. This year we lost quiet a few games that were sitters, and won a few we were ruled to have no chance in. I think Elliott will be great for us... and if nothing else, a few of our future stars will get a run, something which Lang only did when injury forced him to.

as much as i hate to say it i understand why ppl are saying the raiders will get the spoon next year... i hear all the raiders fans say thats what they said last year but imo its much more likely in 07. Massive amounts of lost experience including the 4 blokes in our side that have had rep experience.

Im no fan of elliot and believe it was his time to go but neil henry is very much unproven... he could be a masterstroke but then again may not be.

i reckon a couple of sides that struggled this year will be right amongst it next year. these are the cowboys and tigers.

umm as for bottom 3 i have no idea... wayy to hard to call

The Tigers have no halfback.

Wasn't the same thing said about Melbourne with Cooper Cronk. Looked what happened. John Morris will be playing half back. I know he played 5/8th for the eels but I have confidence in him to do the job.

3rd Last - Panthers. Too many over-rated nuffies in the backline sucking up too many dollars.

2nd Last - Souths. Still a poor team hoping for miracles by individual players, but have a good coach. I previously thuoght they would have come last, but a "last place side" that would win quite f ew game. As I said, my choice for last until....

Last - Roosters. Any team that has a NEW head coach saying he wants to play a Rugby Union style.... you know they will come last.
Not in our 100th season pal....we will finish above the over priced and over rated Eels....enjoy Finch.

they still have no backs and half their forwards are over the hill or flat out over rated.
Souths will come bottem 3 for that reason, and the reason that they are souths, its like someone asking weather the sun will rise tomorrow morning, there's no explaination required, it'll just happen

Here's my ruler over the above mentioned candidates:

Souths

History suggests.......

They have bought up well. However, I think they have bought sort of the same quality as the Titans have. They will improve. The problem is, so will others.

My tip: 13th

Sharks

Their biggest problem is undisipline. They have a very good coach who is not going to pussy foot around. I reckon they will be closer to the 8, and not in the running for the spoon. My prediction: 9th

Penrith

The only big forwards team in recent years to go crap. Quality forwards, slow, useless halves. Gower is Garry Hughes with a beer gut.

elliot will sort 'em out. My prediction: 11th

Canberra

For some odd reason, they always make the 8. Many teams underestimate them, and pay the price.

My prediction: 8th

Titans

Crap club with 1 decent signing: Bailey. Prince and Campbell are overrated, although Campbell at least does exciting stuff.

My prediction: SPOON

Roosters

I rate Anderson as a coach. Minichiello aside, he's got 3/5th of bugger all to work with. Watch for 70m field goal attempts if the game gets close.

I recall my prediction last year that they would finish 13th, and rooster fans going nuts at the thought. And where did they end up?????

My prediction: 14th

Wests

Their big men got injured, as did their little men. Morris is a good signing - more than equal to Prince. Farrah should knock on the Origin door.

My prediction: 10th

Cowpats

As soon as referees slowed the play the ball down, they had nothing but Thurston. I predict that they will not win a game without JT on deck.

My prediction: 12th

Warriors

Last year they would have finished 6th had not the salary cap scandal bit.

My prediction: 5th

Every year there are two shocks. Therefore:

Bulldogs

Losing Myles, Grimalsi and Asotasi will be a big blow. Sherwin is now sensational for 30 minutes a season.

My prediction: 11th

Manly

BK made them last year. Menzies is reduced to a hit man. Orford is great v Souths on Sat night. On free to air, he's shaky.

Who else have they got? Lyon. Good buy. And Hasler. Sh*t coach.

My prediction: 15th

pretty geniused point to make then, only proving that you know nothing about the Raiders.

lol. get over yourself. Dazzle me with the players of the future.

Hodgson Left.
Schiff left.
Mogg Left.
2 Smiths Left.
Even Terry Martin Left.

How am I going so far? Yeah Zillman and Carney look very talented but experience wise the cupboard looks pretty bare. Ale & Chalk are still not much more than a rookie and Best is an average defender. The Jury is still out on Kelly who is yet another rookie like the coach.

Make of it what you will.

A-Class Dickhead.

To want to see any player end up with any sort of injury, regardless who they play for is lowest of the low imo.
mate, do people actually care about canterbury? of course not.

they are a bunch of cheating, *edit*, *edit*, scumbags. and they deserve the injuries they get for playing for them.

you should go to the shop and by a football brain you genius.

zillman 26 tries in premier league
bronx goodwin 26 tries in premier league
michael dobson 232 points in super league and 3rd highest point scorer behind jamie lyon.
todd carney has potenial written all over him
phil graham is a try scoring freak
alan tounge has the biggest heart in all of canberra (you could take the sharks whole squad add their hearts together and they wouldnt equal tounges)
matt bickerstaff is a hard working tackling machime
neville costigan will be a revelation
Thom Leroyd Lars Dane Tilse and Michael Weyman are quailty fowards and 1 of them will play rep next season

should i keep going

sharks will get the spoon because you touch yourself/
