good to see almost 3 times as many fans at the rugby league game than the AFL game last night.

AFLs position in queensland is precarious at best.

another nrl side there would more than likely kill off the brisbane lions

They got half what the GC got for the Storm v Gold Coast game.

How many do you think would go to a game in the Gold Coast between two sides, say, Melbourne (without Inglis) vs New Zealand after Melbourne has just told them they're not going to relocate there (basically telling them to piss off).

We just have to wait until the AFL actually have a Gold Coast side up there before RL can get smug about AFL crowds..

Chump, the second biggest crowd EVER at Carrara (21K) was between the Dogs and Cows. Catch up.

Really? We were getting full houses before we officially moved an RL team there in 2007.

Out of the 26000+ crowd at skilled last night, would have been more than at least 8-10,000 in red and white. Bloody great night at skilled.

all i'm saying is it's good to see there's still places where nrl out ranks afl...

let them have there 70,000. plus crowds afl is are better sport to watch at the game then on t.v even do i hate the sport thats what i thing ...where nrl is better both ways and much nrl surporters rather stay at home and watch the game then go out there and pay heaps for tickets and food etc.

Fair enough.

I think thats pretty soft though, what supporter stays at home instead of going to a game?

Soft as. It's either the weather, origin, the ground, the out of state opposition team or ticket and food prices.

Look's like a very ordinary showing at Parra.

We all know it's due to a second string Storm outfit playing. Still dissapointing.

Parra crowds are farked.

They've gradually reduced the capacity of Parra Stadium over the years and they might as well keep on reducing it.

Clearly not the same situation. North aren't a high drawing or popular club in Melbourne let alone in a state 100's of km's away.

Crud.

The people of the Gold Coast showed their desire for a Rugby League team by filling the ground at every opportunity in the years preceding the Boobs.

Clearly that same desire isn't there for AFL.

Yeah I wasn't talking specifically about you since I dont know your situation just (Sydney) RL fans in general.

I go to pretty much every Storm home game too.

What is the Record attendance at Robina and what is the capacity?

Manly v Titans next week will be huge with an organised Manly function and supporters group thing being held. We get good turnouts when we play at Suncorp, expect the same thing on the Gold Coast.

If Sydney clubs are going to have to financially rely on crowds to survive they are f***ed!

ps stop blaming ANZ stadium, your clubs have chosen to play there!
