I am sorry but how is Slater MOTM? He dropped the ball twice in the final 10 minutes.. Got lucky. Adam Blair deadset robbed.

im seeing what its like being a wanker, much like yourself skeepe.
LOL...rich coming from you. Yes Skeepe is a wanker, but you are a hardly one to throw stones champ.

Your reaction at seeing Parramatta blow it on the biggest stage made the game all that more enjoyable :)

Yeah I would've taken Blair, Cronk or Moi Moi before Slater. Never the less, good on him, he was the player of the finals series and is the No. 1 fullback in the game.

Nice touch letting the kid from Minto present the ring but why couldn't they let him wear his club's jersey instead of that hideous Telstra one?

Why exactly is Parramatta doing a lap to thank the fans while the Storm are receiving the trophy and rings? Show some respect...

might be alone here, but I thought Moi Moi was MOM in a losing side.

Not alone. Although slight bias from me because of a little wager :p

good game, especially the second half.

Parras 5th tackle choices cost them in a huge way.

Its to keep the crowd there otherwise It wouldn't look good Melbourne doing their lap in front of the security staff

Well after all the Parra crowd left, you could see that Melbourne apparently does have more than 20 fans.

agreed - its a terrible look.

no problem with this - better than them doing it afterwards...

Hayne deserves to be roasted for not dealing with the bomb that led to Inglis's try. Too lax imo.

Hayne was coming across from the left side of the field, Ben Smith was standing right under and went to sleep. Honestly, I thought the guy was comatosed and ultimately it was a massive momentum killer for the Eels.

The Churchill winner probably should go to a member of the winning team, Blair should have got it. But ultimately, irrespective of performance one of Hayne, Slater or Inglis was always going to get it because basically the Churchill medal these days is a media darling prize. Slater was fairly ordinary, I thought. Then again, wasn't it Lockyer who got the World Cup MOM? I rest my case, its predecided.

Just my opinion but I've always felt that FB's should be dealing with bombs as they are running into the ball rather than players in the defensive line who are going backwards.

Normally I'd agree but he was covering defensively on the left defensive side. The kick went to the other side, straight to poor old Smith, who let it go to poor old Inglis.
