Back to the crowds for a second:

We're on track to beat the 1986 average crowd mark of 20326 per game.

That would be phenomenal!

Our best ever 'home crowd' season is 23266 (1999) but that included the 100k crowd from first game at the olympic stadium.

We've only averaged over 17k per game 3 times in a season (1999, 1986, 1971) - so to currently be on 21k per game is a sensational achievement!

Remaining home games (all at Parra)
Sharks, Storm, Broncos, Cowboys, Roosters, Tigers, Warriors

The warriors game should be packed out with Cayless and Price playing their last NRL non finals game ever (hopefully Cayless is back the following week, or maybe it will get moved to ANZ ;-))

Should get a few turning up vs Storm :p

Would this not be the home crowd record for Parramatta? It was our designayed home game.

Yeah i was in the Northern end when the fight broke out. There was all these IDIOT bulldogs suppporters that went up in arms after Parra scored a try. They started taunting some parramatta supporters that were around them. Next thing we saw was over 100 little bulldogs supporters jump the chairs to fight the eels supporters. IT was massive. I literally saw a cop grab one of the guys by the neck and tackle him down as the guy was kicking the copper in the face. It was soooo bad. There was over 20-30 police officers there trying to contain it but they couldnt the fights just kept breaking out. It reached a point where everyone up at our end was watching the fight and was missing the game.

yep, it certainly did get ugly last night and it seems to have been dominated by 1 clubs supporters, infact they were fighting with each other at one stage..some of their behaviour was absolutely disgusting, you may hear more about it in the coming days.

I had a
few Doggies supporters sitting behind me, as soon as Hayne scored they said
here's trouble.

They were a great bunch of blokes who were
sick of the same dickheads who ruin for their club.

I heard on the radio that 9 people were arrested and 14 ejected from the game with a warning of being barred for life and being prosecuted if they get in any more trouble

It would be nice to top Saints, Souths and Wests to have the biggest home average of Sydney teams, but I don't think we'll get there.

We should get 25K this Friday, and to get say 18K for regular Parra Stadium games will be a good result imo. The MNF game v I think Cowboys will be a relatively poor crowd (12K), as Monday Nights suck as a rule.

dont be surprised if we get a decent crowd for that, keeping in mind we got 15k for the monday night game against canberra who, like the cowpats, dont usually draw big crowds at Parramatta.
