My full-strength side would be:

1. Jamie Dowling
2. Ryan Tongia
3. Lachlan Creighton
4. Guy Borgas
5. Sam Saville
6. Jordan Rankin (c)
7. Cody Walker
8. Josh Coyle
9. Sam Meskell
10. Luke Page
11. Ryan James
12. Dominic Walsh
13. Kurt Foggo

14. Chris Bloomfield
15. Leon Taylor
16. Steven Gillett
17. Ricardo Parata

Japeth Vaoa would be in the 17 somewhere although I think he will start off in SG Ball. This is a pretty strong side with class all over the paddock. Also I thought Regan Ropati was off to the Tigers, or was he just recently signed by the Titans?

i think you will find matt srama will be in the mix somewhere!

I watched a few Titans games this year. I still don't see the wraps on Jordan Rankin. They were a better team when Cody Walker was playing.

His selection to NRL in 2008 was the most baffling I have seen. He did nothing in the game and the media hype surrounding what stupid.

The kid is ok. But no one I know think he is anything but that and I have seen him play since he was 15. He is a poor defender ( a grabber) and he is not a half. Fullback is his position.

Could it be that one more appearance in the NRL would have seen Brad Davis eligible for a sizeable contract bonus ?? thus the need to give 'another' halfback a run and just quietly I think labelling Rankin a 'poor' defender is actually giving him a rap.

From the list above you can see that the Warriors have stock piled an amazing amount of junior depth. I guess they decided its time to become a development club again.

They are helped by Jordan Tuarae and Patrick VaiVai returning from the Storm for family reasons and Neccron Areaiti returning from West Tigers. Last season they convinced James Te Pou to turn his back on Paramatta. And Zensei Inu got picked up instead of going to Manly.

Players of note to watch include Glenn Fisiiahi who is rated the fasted speedster coming through in the game in NZ. Sam Lousi is an atheltic ,6'5 110kg plus Centre, Lance Sua Poe a 6ft5 prop and around 120kg. And Joe Mua was easily the most devestating centre in the junior ranks last year made in the Tuiaki mould from the Tigers also around 110 kg.

Alot of depth and a lot of competition. Tupou, Likiliki, Johnson, and Taylor all train with the First grade squad and all could see NRL time this year realisticly. The warriors have definitley gone for a more physical type of player this season.

Best line up

1. Glenn Fisiiahi
2. Bill Tupou
3. Siuatonga Likiliki
4. Thomas Ah Van/Joe Mua/James Te Pou/Sam Lousi
5. Elijah Niko
6. Zensei Inu
7. Shaun Johnson
8. Beau King
9. Nafe Seluni
10. Patrick Vaivai
11. Sebastine Ikahihifo
12. Ben Henry
13. Elijah Taylor

14. Jordan Tuarae
15. Mathew Robinson
16. Lance Sua Poe
17. Neccron Areaiti

Wonder if Patrick Vaivai is related to Junior Vaivai.

Not sure but he's a talent around 6ft and 110kg, he was the only player from Auckland that the Storm picked up a season back. Good to see him come home even if for family reasons, the storms loss is the Warriors gain.
