Really don't give a sh*t what the article says, I'm telling you I was at the ground and the announcer was counting down how many members left through the game, announcing after the final try that we finally crossed the 13k mark.

The article can say what it wants, I know what I heard, and I know there were 26,000 other people there who likely heard the same.

I'm simply talking about what I heard at the ground. I have no doubt it was a marketing ploy.

I can sense a massive change of tone and great back-pedalling here, well done Timmah

Sounded like a marketing ploy the moment i read what happened at the ground

nonetheless, well done to the dogs

I think the figures show the value of membership to the club and how it is easier to retain existing members even when the team has performed poorly.

For example, Parramatta had a big jump in 2010 after a great performance in 2009. This year they have about the same number even after a bad year last year.

This year the Roosters have a big jump due to their efforts in 2010 and some good marketing. No matter how they go this year they should be able to keep all those members for next season.

Raiders more members than the Tigers... wouldn't have picked that.

Not really that suprising skeepe.

The Raiders now have a side that is exciting, talented and engaged with the community for the right reasons in a captive market. The suckiness of the Brumbies will only serve to boost those numbers next year again one would hope.

Tigers always have high attendance but for whatever reason lower conversion to members

Great work by clubs and the NRL.

Another solid 5 years of membership awareness will have our numbers jump by double.
