Great work from the mighty Raiders. We'll hit 11,000 next year no trouble, we've still got massive improvements left in our whole membership department

Also, seems like the Salary Cap sh*t really did hit Melbourne... I know they started late but didn't they also start late the year before?

If we have 3 games at SCG, I dunno about that. Maybe the third will be sh*t, but the dogs and eels games should get 40k.

:? You're having one game at the SCG - Parra and NQ will both be ready at Kogarah.

Very poor numbers for Panthers, did they win the battle of the west?

here is the better picture:

Strong growth in memberships
NRL
Fri, Mar 25, 2011

As we head into round three of the Telstra Premiership, memberships across the game continue to soar, with the code’s cumulative total now just shy of 170,000.

Heading the massive membership totals in the game are Sydney clubs, the Rabbitohs (19,845) and Dragons (19,055) who both are on the verge of breaking the 20,000 membership total, a major milestone for the game.

Next in line, the Broncos, Bulldogs and Eels continue to sell, which sees five of the 16 Premiership clubs now with over 10,000 members.

The record membership numbers are already having an impact on crowd numbers for season 2011, with the game breaking the 200,000 attendance barrier for the first time in one round, and with crowds already for 2011 up over 10% on last year.

considering their junior base the Panthers should be getting more. Perhaps the NRL should work with them to help boost the numbers?

Most people living in the Penrith area don't have much disposable income to afford to pay for up front memberships and can only afford to rock up to games when they can. It's not the club's fault and it's not the fan's fault either.

Great evidence you have there.

f**k now I realise why everyone hates you....

I said we will probably end up not playing our first 3 at home and because I don't have an NRL announcement or 4 peer reviewed journals proving my point, its not valid to be posted on a forum.

Do you get out much?
