Only the Sharks have the ability to come up with a decent idea and then royally f**k it up. Why on earth wouldn't you also have a corresponding mother+daughter package?
Although parra are ahead of the dogs by 300 memberships last I saw.
Battle of tradition would probably have been a less divisive tag than legends!
Based on members over the past few seasons.
I think the Sharks (and other clubs) have missed the boat a bit. A lot of present NRL footballers were brought up by single mothers and no doubt a lot of the kids watching and playing today are in a similar situation. And mums do a lot of the hard graft at the junior level. A mother/son or mother/child scheme would be ideal to encourage memberships from this demographic.
So looking at these numbers, and adding on the 300 today, it looks like the sea eagles are the second club to surpass their 2010 total. Well done Manly!
How many mothers take their daughters to the footy... seriously? Obviously if its a family and the dads away or something, but tbh I can't see the mother and daughter loving footy, and the dad not even wanting to go.
With all those free memberships to under 9 year olds.
Campese out for half the season and especially Monaghan's headlines probably didn't help.Im suprised that the raiders have not surpassed their 2010 mark yet. I would have thought they would be going gangbusters after the season they had and the players they bought for 2011.
Plenty of work to do before kickoff of the 2011 season. At least we have 6 weeks before kickoff to pass 2010 marks.

Not all supporters are that loyal. Many are bandwagoners. Look at the general trend of membership not being as strong after bad years. Of course not all are that way, most are good loyal fans. But the thing with membership is you basically need ALL of your old members to renew as well as a solid number of new ones, so if even a minority dont renew it can lead to numbers stagnating or even going backwards.really? Do you think fans loyalty to a club is so easily swayed?
Don't about most but I support the club, not the players. I also wouldn't write my club off before they'd even kicked a ball regardless of who was injured. Obviously a fickle lot some fans?
