Was that year of the "Sydney Tigers" experiment playing out of Parra stadium?

Sure was, 1995 and 96 complete with the purple stripe on the jersey.

This got posted in the Dragons forum courtesy of Anth mid last week, dont think its been posted here yet, Dragons 2012 Charity Shield retains the same design as last year, but this year theyre giving us fans that real on field version rather than the BigW style design they tried to sell us last year.

They've gone for a lighter shade of blue?
Hope they have an alternate strip for when they play away at the Sharks, cos both of those ones both clash.

And that Dragons one is not good. It looks like an AFL "guernsey" with sleeves.
What's wrong with sticking with the Red V?

The Dragons are just carrying on from last year in using a "one-off" jersey for the Charity Shield - I don't mind it, as far as one-offs go it's pretty smart.

The Vulcans jersey is a bit baffling - I hope it's just a misprint, but Auckland's usual shade of blue is certainly not that light. Maybe they're taking a cue from the Auckland Aces T20 cricket team?

We've worn a one-off charity shield jersey almost every year of the past 12. For a club that rarely changes its home or away designs, it is our little artistic licence. Some are shockers, like the charcoal jersey and the winnie reds jersey, some are not bad like this one and the double cheveron.

Dead set in the fair dinkum department, thats a shocker! Seen them in Amart and it looks like a bad training shirt!

Whilst I agree its a fairly shite design.. that would be the supporters cut rather than the players cut, which may make it look slightly better.. but pretty average nevertheless..
