What I put forward as groups would involve one of 5, one of 3, then two lots of four:

Battle of Syd West: Dogs Eels Tigers Panthers
Battle of Syd East: Roosters Rabbitohs Sharks Dragons Manly
One Team Towns: Raiders Storm Knights Warriors
Queensland: Broncos Cowboys Titans

As of 4.30 yesterday Parra at 5,126, not bad for 3 weeks, courtesy of Jodeci.

Saints website today says 9,412.

I hope they pick up, but from some of the previous posts it seems we have quite expensive seats. A function of small grounds?

Red V prices have gone up this year, but still to be at nearly 10 000 members before christmas is a great achievement.

Pretty sure that's well ahead of where we were at this time last year.

Only problem is that it wouldn't be very competitive.

Syd East would be very competitive - Dragons v Rabbitohs.

Dragons, broncos, souths, knights

Parra, wests, dogs, penrith

Melbourne, warriors, canberra, cowboys

Manly, cronulla, roosters, gold coast.

All fair fights.

I thought of something similar to the above but Penrith would be woefully outmatched.

It looks like there can’t be 4 fair fights if it is to be 4 groups of 4 teams.

What about groups of 2?!

That's right, head to head.

Souths v St.George
Manly v Roosters
Parra v Bulldogs
Raiders v Storm
Cronulla v Penrith
Warriors v Cowboys
Titans v Knights

What to do with Broncos & Tigers?

anyone?

Considering 50uff$ play out of homebush shouldn't they be in the west group?

Good to see that all clubs release their membership before christmas. Back 6 years a go membership would come out in Feb or late Jan. Finally clubs have given them self a prime purchase window before Christmas.

This christmas I will find my Souths membership under the tree.

What a shit present

Damn you beat me to it Fred! It really makes you feel for the less fortunate in our society at Christmas time. And none are less fortunate than those kids whose parents are LOL@50uff$ supporters.

Poor lil' Johnny opens his only present to find a LOL@50uff$ ticketed membership package. The disappointment wouldn't end at Christmas though, it would carry through the whole 2012 NRL season!
