I dont think you watch the game closely enough. Lewis cant do the work that Myles, Harrison and Thaiday do. Particularly the hit ups. Harrison constantly takes shortside hit ups when theres nothing on and get smashed. He does this very well. Lewis would be stretched off after a couple of these. Myles and Thaiday are just better.... run harder , tackle harder. Lewis has a better passing and kicking game but backrowers are judged on the prior skill more.............................. moron.
Lewis and Harrison are totally different style of players. Harrison is a worker and that's it. Lewis is more of a hole running / playmaking backrower, but he's capable of playing tight if he has to. Harrison and Myles might be better workers, but Lewis is a better player than both of them imo.

QLD dominate in the forwards because their prop rotation and hooker are much better than what we have. Their backrowers are good, just not as good as ours.

I wouldn't consider Game 2 a great game or anything though.

Sure he did well to score that try but it was more Pearce's pin-point perfectly placed kick than Lewis' great work and Cronk was well covered. And that's basically all he did.

In game 3, except for scooping up a loose ball in the scrappiest Origin try of all time, he did nothing of note.

Myles was in the 4 nations squad in 2010 and still only managed to be 18th man behind Lewis, Gallen and Bird for the final

Try again princess

lewis is a good player but if he were at the broncos he would be training with the redcliffe dolphins tonight.

Lewis is a walk up start in the Second Row for Australia. Harrison,Parker etc aren't

That's just someone's opinion though, not sure why people treat representative teams as fact.

Lewis is one of the best club backrowers going round but when it comes to origin based on their performances I'd be taking any of Harrison/Thaiday/Myles over him. Lewis has been very disappointing at SOO level, Beaut Scott, Greg Bird & Anthony Watmough have all shown more than him... he's not even our best SOO backrower.

Please note I rate him above every player I've just mentioned at club level but SOO is a different level and he just hasn't excelled.

Let Lewis actually start and play 60+ mins

Agreed he has deserved a decent crack at making the position his own and been extremely unlucky not to get the chance. In saying that though his performance when he started in 2010 was very disappointing and has put him behind the likes of Watmough, Bird & Scott who have all proven themselves off the bench, starting and in various roles.

Lewis could be one of our best backrowers but potential is not greater that actual performances and at the moment Harrison, Thaiday & Myles all have the runs on the board at SOO level. Club level it's a different story but when picking SOO teams it's hard to argue that QLD's three starting backrowers aren't better choices than Lewis.

Bird is pretty much my favourite rep player now. I used to hate the prick when he was competing with Anasta for 5/8th
