Aubusson tore Lawrence a new one last night, in defence and attack. It was actually embarrassing how easy that was for Aubusson after a massive lay off due to injury.

Food for thought.

Not really. It's a trial.

Hope its not another year where injuries keep our best out. Lets just say Gallen (touch) wood gets injured, Hayne, Uate and Lewis guys that we have mostly agreeded on will be there, who then fills these spots?

 Let's not jinx it but the uproar that will happen if an injury does happen.

I'd love Gallen in the squad to win the series the bloke deserves it. Same as a few other players allot of NSW players have out in tons of effort in Origin to real gain due to f**kwit selectors picking improper combos or players like King ala game 1 lol at 16m.

Do they use different balls in trials or something?

I wouldn't take trials too seriously, but feel free to go $500 on the Sharkies to win the premiership based on the fact they beat Manly in the trials.

True, but what keeps going over in my mind is that if our best Prop is a perfect lock is inconcevable to just go another Backrower like T.Simms. I would still have a prop or 2 in the side, maybe.

I really thought thats what we should have done game 3 last year. It was always going to be a tough ask Suncorp, lockeyers last. Try a tactical experiment and play or front rowforwards that are generally backrower.

I guess thats one of those genious or lunatic ideas.

Like Gal said though, he plays for Cronulla this is his only chance at a GF. Maybe not the best thing to say, but at least he was being honest.

Shillington was woeful last year. He was soft at the Roosters too. Shillo the Pillow...

Fact. And a dumb footballer as well, always good for a derp play the ball or attacking penalty.

Aubusson is a weapon, but probably too many in front of him at the stage. Roosters playing quality football for a couple of year consistently could put him in the frame

Are you suggesting my opinion on Maubs being a more apt right centre to match against Inglis than Lawrence is purely based on the Foundation Cup? That's some assumption, my opinion well out dates said game.

Just some food for thought, you can keep putting words in my mouth but that's all I said.

I agree with you 100% Game III last year just meant to much to QLD and on their own home turf was a big ask especially after being down a few preffered players due to injury. Still Game I we could have won as well if Morris never let that piss weak try in or if we held our own. 2011 was still one of our better series and it's laughable but we have Sticky to thank for that. Yeah it might sound like a joke but a full time coach is what we need someone with no club commitments that can dedicate him self to NSW purely and build and develop players.

He has allot of passion which he installs in the players and whilst not the best coach is not the biggest clueless twat to ever coach. I think he will do well for us and with a strong captain and a few top order man we can win this series. We have a dedicated coach, we have the passion, the fans are starting to believe and trust in Ricky and the boys again, we have the skillful players. Origin in NSW is most certainly still alive.

As for Gallen, that's a strong quote by him he obviously has allot of passion for Cronulla but never sees himself grabbing a premiership although he may have a few personal awards the guy wants a team trophy, something he can proud of.

A few years ago I actually wanted Aubusson to land a spot for NSW in the backrow. A really good player when he's in form IMO. He was a good defender and wasn't afraid to dig in, but he was also an attacking weapon on an edge. I liked the balance he had in his game when playing in the backrow and thought he could add something for NSW.

It's a bit disappointing if the Roosters are now playing him at centre. I know he's pretty good there, but once he went to the backrow in '10 after playing a lot of centre in 09, he turned into a far better player IMO.

He's always been used as a backup centre when we've been struggling for depth (which has been frequent in recent years). But I have no doubt he'll be playing in the second row the majority of the time.

SKD and Moga will be our centres.

Not having a dig at you RWD or anyone, but I really think it goes against us if we pick a side purely base on who is in the Oppo's and how we can counter act.

We look at atleast 30 players, then work out a game plan and combos. Hard to do in 2 weeks, but what is sticky doing at the moment. He should be reviewing videos, at trial matches and working out a team with a good play of attack.

Likely chance fat Bunny will be injured again anyway, thats why you can't pick a squad from what the oppo's are doing.

Either way still comes back to our play makers, if thet dish shite out to our backs, we'll get splatter all over Melbourne in the first match.

I know. I tend to type while watching T.V and the lighting is poor, plus my position when typing isn't perfect(especially with OH&S). I will sometimes preview my longer posts and edit them 2-3 times still knowing they are lacking in Grammer, Spelling and simply sense.

Not a fan of phone chatter either, prefer the good ol' face to face. No confusion of tone or attitude of the conversation etc. You guys though keep me mindful of my poore Inglish.

As long as you can sought of see my points, I'm happy. If it seems like a bunch of jibberish, i'm trialing for a spot on Weekend Detention.

Just to be sure though, you want me to have nice person read my posts first, kinda takes it in the Ass, yeh.
