Utterly pathetic performance. Rooney is the only player I'd feed right now.

Fair cop to West Brom. They played very well and thoroughly deserved to win.

Swansea v Arsenal second half is good watching, can they find that fat bloke the fan youtube channel interviewed outside The Emirates after the loss to Villa blowing up deluxe for a follow up interview?

Torres gets carded for being dragged to the ground by the collar

Now I've seen everything...

Sounds like you didn't see anything.

Just for your benefit

Torres probably deserve a straight red for the scratch, so maybe justice in the end.

Jose accused Vertonghen of faking his injury, and he has a point. The way he was carrying on was ridiculous

Can't believe City lost that. All over them like a rash for 90 minutes and conceded 3 with basically Villa's only attacking threats. Yaya, Fernandinho and Nasri bossed the midfield - especially Nasri, he's really come into his own of late.

Definitely can't afford to switch off and be complacent in games like this, given the level of competition this year.

Is his contract up soon?

That was the first one, not the second

Cant believe they found a free kick in that second one.

Vertongen wasn't faking any injury, he copped an elbow to the head just before they went up for the ball but seemed completely accidental to me and nothing in it. That could have been what the free kick was for and if it was it was pretty soft.

Huh? He definitely was faking, there was no one near Vertongen before they went up. Dembele was the only one of may have been elbowed before it.

They both dived, probably because they both thought that if they won the free kick the ref would send the other off. Pathetic by both players, and a sham from the ref for awarding a second yellow.

As far as the game goes, a bit late on my thoughts but pretty much this; after Torres went off, I said aloud that I would be peeved if Spurs won from there. Chelsea probably would have won the game, in saying that, both teams can feel a bit disappointed that they didn't get two goals each. Obviously though Chelsea have a genuine excuse.

Agreed, Torres being their striker is a great excuse for not scoring..

relies on Suarez playing as well as last season and Coutinho really kicking on to the next level, because on paper at least our attack still doesnt match city, Chelsea, Arsenal or Spurs.

Have you seen Liverpool's record last season without Suarez?
