Hammers just about safe which is a good effort considering where they were and how things looked at the end of 2013.

Thanks Jose

 You left the Etihad with the same amount of points the other 8 teams that have played there left with.

You've had your best start to the season in years, yet you're behind Everton and only 2 in front of United.

The last time Sturridge played you lost to Hull didn't you?

You get 5th and Suarez will be gone. Then you'll be back to fighting it out with West Brom for 7th.

This merkin is on fire

since Sherwood took ever we've gone nuts

Thought's on Sherwood now?

Thought's on Sherwood now?

still nuts,

how we can have a midfield of Sandro and Paulinho who will probably start fro Brazil in the WC, and not even have them on the bench is beyond me

he has a hard on for Bentilab, a 19 y o from our academy

he is alot like 'arry, if they aint British they are no good

I never understood the hype about Paulinho. He's never looked anything special to me.

If he starts ahead of Fernandinho in the WC then Scolari needs to be examined, because he's about half as good as him.

He was brilliant for Brazil last year and I was pretty happy to have him but he's been awfully boxed in by AVB and now TS wont play him, he came third in the player of the tournament

staggers the mind

I'd be very surprise of he doesn't start for Brazil in the WC

After last nights results there's a 5 point gap from Norwich (32 points) to Fulham (27). Sunderland are last on 25 points but have three games in hand on the teams above them, although with Spurs, Chelsea and City away and everton at home in the next four games they're in a fair bit of trouble

City/Southampton assignment was pretty interesting. Early penalty for City then Southampton were well on top and got one back. City goal against the run of play with a massively offside player (2+ metres) and then scored again straight after that.

Yeah saints dropped their bundle after the blatant offside. City still did well to win it comfortably while not paying well. Gee I hope they are that lethargic against us. Yaya looked like a statue at times.

Those two injury time goals in the first half killed Southampton. It was a pretty good game up to that point

Fulham are f*cked

Sunderland certainly need to make the most of their extra games, but I still think they can stay up

Why the hell were there so many empty seats at Etihad? Their team is on a title charge with the league in their hands with 8 games to go, and yet quite a few don't turn up? Sheesh. Already taking shit for granted.

f**k off arteta, please just go away. Giroud you too, go back to france and band some hooker, seems to be the only time you score anyway.
