What's the story behind that?

again i don't entirely understand the hatred of the wolverine jersey.. i only recall seeing it briefly but thought i'd seen much worse produced.. at least it was the right colours and easily identifiable as a dragons jersey...

What's the story behind that?

Basically they got members of the playing group together to brainstorm ideas for a jersey and their responses were sent on to Reebok to develop. The strip was approved, but when shown to the fans it tanked. Dragons fans seem to prefer simpler designs, nothing flashy, just practical and not stupid.

I think if you added thinner Yellow/gold hoops between the purple and black ones it would make a good looking Storm jersey, different to anything they have done before and I don't know if the fans would like it or not but as a basic jersey it would look good.

Want to see the gold away jersey make a comeback but with the way I think they are going to do the incorporation I can only see myself getting coal with that wish. Can't wait for the launch. Will get it in the member email hopefully...

That jersey is fantastic as it is, although the thin yellow hoops would be ok as well.

Also agree with Shane085, it wasn't the best jersey, but wasn't woeful. Different strokes I guess.

I'm wondering if instead of a v you had a chevron up top, with gold trim and the bolts incorporated? might look a mess, might come out okay. if i had the photoshop skills i'd do a mock up of what i have in my head but sadly all i have is MS paint skills

The colours are pretty similar for a reason, yellow/gold on top would ruin the look imo.

I agree but this is a more subtle use of the side panels at least. Souths would look better if their black/white panels were green.
