He's either clueless or looking for attention. The Rabbitohs have done a decent job with their branding since 2007, except for their jerseys.

paul everest is a numnut. soufs (like em of hate them) have one of the most recognizable logo's and brands in Australian sport. sure if they were an expansion team you would call them the rabbitohs but the ogo has history and meaning behind it

That's what I was thinking too, he's just in it for some publicity.

I think Souffs should go back to this badge, personally I think it's perfect.

sure a bunny isn't intimidating but the classic logo does give a sense of nimbleness, agility, speed... has anyone ever tried to run after a tackle a rabbit or a hare in full flight?

Saw the original Inner West Courier story on the souths logo last week. "Marketing" expert trying to get his name in lights if I've ever seen it.

As an avid disliker of Souths - even I can recognise they have one of the most popular and iconic sporting brands in Australia. He's obviously never driven around Sydney.

Exactly, it's probably the most instantly recognisable logo in Australian sport.

I'd simplify it to just the white bunny (with the same shading as on the infamous car sticker) and would even consider scrap the words South Sydney Rabbitohs from the logo. Much like Green Bay Packers, which is synonymous with the G logo:

See, I know that's GWS... because I follow sport closely.

The average joe wouldn't have a f**king clue

Personally i'd prefer if we keep the solo bunny logo but maybe change the text on it to just black saying 'South Sydney Rabbitohs' below the bunny in a bold text, nothing fancy.

Souths have the best logo in Aus sports. You see that white rabbit and you know instantly. Reminds me of the NFL helmet logos, very simple. Other teams could learn a thing or two.

Leave the rabbit alone, is my opinion. Tweak it ever so slightly if need be, but anything more than that is just gonna ruin it. It's iconic as it is, and personally, I would leave it as is - just the rabbit on it's own on the jersey, but 'officially' have the words 'South Sydney Rabbitohs' under it so that it can be worked out who they are for someone new to the country (as an example). Basically, what they have now.
