Did anyone else notice that the warriors wore their white away against the sharks light blue home, and the rabbits had white trim against the panthers white jersey.

Couldn't tell who was who..

And yeah sublimated's the go! I used to hate getting grabbed by the badge.......

I see Ferguson was wearing an Under 20's jersey last night for the Raiders, had the 20's badge on it.

He was in jumper 21, I assume that might have had something to do with it. Still lazy though.

On the higher numbers: does anyone else miss the old system of 1-13 for agrade, 14-17 for a grade bench, 18-30 for res grade?

just dawned on me recently in our local leagues when playing trials with big squads that the a grade, res grade, etc jerseys now all number 1-17/19... makes it hard with 2 13's on the park at once... got me thinking about the old numbering across the club rather than across the team...

Maybe i'm just being nostalgic for the sake of it... would anyone want to see something similar return? perhaps 1-20 for a-grade, 21-40 for u20s, 41-60 for NSW Cup?

Yep.

Pretty sure Jason Bukuya did the same thing for Cronulla one game last year, or the year before.

Here is the new Wests Magpies jerseys for the up coming Ron Massey Shield season. It's the new name for Metro/Jim Beam/Bundy Red Cups.

Not a Maggies fan but I'll be getting one of the white ones, they look fantastic.

Sharks WiL jersey - prepare yourselves...

I imagine that Cronulla came up with the following brief

Please design a shirt that no sponsor would want their name on the front of. It must be a perfect blend of visual comedy and licorice all sort and we must not sell any of them even if we wanted to.

I think they've f**king well nailed it

Well done Cronulla

I don't think I've ever seen a fan of any club wearing a Women In League jersey anyway.

i've only seen chicks wearing them. i think using a fluro pink as the main body is just lazy and horrid. use it as a trim or to make a change to park of the jersey i.e. dragons pink V

imagine if the dragons used a pink instead of a white and made the V red still......

Yeah, that would be horrendous.

I think the Sharks missed an opportunity here. Their blue would compliment the right shade of pink pretty well.

On a semi-related note, pink actually used to be the colour for boys and blue was the colour for girls. It switched around less than a hundred years ago. Blue was seen as a soft, effeminate colour, while red was considered masculine because it is a shade of red.

That WT shirt would be even more awesome if it had cust off chevrons a la the 88 and 89 grand final strip.

It's actually a link to the 60's when the chevrons came to a point, with the sponsorship cutting through - so in a way, it's actually got even more heritage behind it...
