A few weeks ago I mentioned a Penrith Panthers logo concept that somebody came up with for their 50th anniversary, but I couldn't find a picture. Here it is-

fuuck me, thats a nice logo. get rid of all of these shiitty cartoon emblems and bring back some traditions

and this isnt just for the panthers. tigers, roosters and canberra (off the top of my head i cant think if there are any others) really need to get rid of their current ones.

also, does anyone else want to see the broncos bring back there logo pre-1999. I loved that thing.

The part of the wordmark that says "Broncos" on the old badge is pretty dated these days. However, Melbourne designer Anthony Costa did come up with this logo using the horse on the old badge as inspiration-

Well the Panthers themselves are the ones considering a 50th Anniversary badge for next year, so I guess they'd be the authority on the matter.

Really? They can't wait 3 years and celebrate 50 years properly? Gus is doing a top job.

I'd love for them to remove the anniversary reference and use it as their regular badge.

Sounds and looks pretty f**ken cool, but will they be ditching the crown logo?
Seeing as they disrespectfully spoiled the indigenous logo by covering it with the crown we'll see if they ruin the 'S'

Edit: ahhhh just noticed they chucked it under the collar.

Why? Warner Brothers would be paying them at least 6 figures for the publicity. It's money in the bank AMD anything that helps Storm turn a profit is not a bad thing.

I would have preferred yellow/gold under the red S.

Would have contrasted nicely with the purple base (and is a storm colour) and made the S stand out more.

Red and blue on purple is obviously all too similar

There's no yellow on the costume in the movie.

I guess they want a similar replica to the Henry Carvill version.

Is brown better than pink ?

Depends. The brown jerseys are warmer and tighter, but it hurts more when your team cops a pounding in the brown.
