whilst i dont like movie themed jerseys as its the ultimate in whoring out your kit, it is a positive thing that warner bros aus see the storm as good enough to use for exposure. i mean they probably could have gone to the sharks and the sharks would have paid them to wear a sponsored jersey

Replace the superman logo with the normal Crown logo, make the collar yellow, and you've got a great jersey. It's a pattern that would make the Melbourne jersey unique in the NRL.

That's a joke right?

When will clubs learn that the most valuable 'brand' on the jersey is their own? Not their sponsors, not the jersey manufacturers not some f**ked up movie franchise but their own emblem and colours.

It's a farce.

I wish they went all out on that Superman jersey and had it in the upper middle of the chest, push the logos out wider and had the muscular armor from the movie outfit.

Why? Warner Brothers would be paying them at least 6 figures for the publicity. It's money in the bank AMD anything that helps Storm turn a profit is not a bad thing.

I'm all for it.

Least someone on here has some brains!!!!

Seriously I am happy half of you don't run clubs. As I have said before event jerseys sell. It's money for the club, the retailers etc

If NRL clubs can't establish a brand in 26 rounds of football then there is a problem.

AFL gear doesn't sell the volume of the NRL cause it is always the same.

Really for those of you bitching it's pretty simple, you don't like it then don't buy it. There are those of us who do and will buy these jerseys.

I don't like the multitude of jerseys but could cop it a bit more if clubs put more thought into establishing a regular brand rather than chopping and changing as soon as its legal to do so (and occasionally even before then through loopholes). EVERYTHING about jerseys is aimed at making money of late.
