And qld have QRL logo and the actual State of origin badge.

It's traditional for the Maroons to have the Queensland flag on their jersey instead. Not sure why they didn't this year.

The State of Queensland has a coat of arms. It is a deer and a brolga supporting a shield bearing the heads of a ram and a bull in the top half on a yellow field, a sheaf of wheat in the lower left corner on a sable field and a golden obelisk atop a green mound on the bottom right. I don't think the QRL has a coat of arms though.

The coat of arms on the Blues jersey is not that of NSW, but of the NSWRL. NSW' coat of arms is supported by a lion and a kangaroo, while the one on the jersey has two kangaroos and no lion. The shield bears the same devices, but the colour scheme is completely different.

Yeah fair enough but I just think it's shit when one team is wearing the competition logo and the other team just wears two of their own logos...
test matches are rarely in a "competition", mostly one-offs It would be pointless having a competition Logo but I think in the World Cup they wear the World Cup logo on the right chest ?

City and Country have their badge on the right and their arms on the left too. It seems Qld are the odd ones out as far as rep jerseys go.

Disagree. Should have a SoO badge on right chest. Keep it consistant with NRL etc.

It's a tradition that has only come back in recent years. They did it back in Wally's day.

I personally think the flag makes it all look a bit busy.

Oh, and the Queensland jersey is sadly shocking. Why can't we just have maroon and a white collar. The way that the rugby league gods intended it?

Blades is still the jersey manufacturer and have their logo on the shoulders, velbexx17 is just a new sponsor that has been placed in that location as teams are now allowed to do.

Not permitted to have any references to off shore gambling on the jerseys. whilst playing in NZ. Souths have the same issue, and have Souths Cares in place of The Star.

Newcastle got around it by having twitter handles on the jerseys. Should of had John Hunter children's hospital like the 20's do.

I would not have thought Souths would have a problem as Delonge is their away jersey sponsor.
