Manly's new indigenous jersey. Not a fan personally, too busy.

Itd be fine if the design all linked together, but the side panels stop that from happening.. The coloured block behind the sponsor is also pretty average..

Wests Tigers chairman Grant Mayer has tweeted that Wests Tigers will wear ONE heritage in 2014.

"All thoughts welcomed on heritage jersey. All I will say is that in 2014 the club will wear just one heritage jersey"

And this weekend Wests Tigers will wear their 2013 Balmain Heritage jersey

i fuuking hate how the tigers do jerseys. i mean those to a very nice, but if the roosters can get a full V in above the sponsor im sure the tigers could figure it out.

With a black main jersey, I'd be leaning towards this one as a contrast;

Or a version of this one wouldn't look bad either;

Pity you picked a photo of them looking shattered standing under the goal posts after conceding another try. But they looked nice while they did it :p

Thanks Creagus

I think the V's on these heritage jerseys are much bigger than they originally were..

Yeah they are. The originals which used to end around the upper abdomen, where as these as can be seen end towards the lower abdomen/belly button region, as such the V's are larger in scale than they were.

If I were the Tigers I would do heritage jerseys on a three year cycle like this-

1. Balmain jersey
2. Magpies jersey
3. Old Wests Tigers jersey

Neither Balmain, nor the Magpies have a huge variety of past designs to use and this would make them last a bit longer before repeating themselves. Also, Balmain and Magpies loyalists would be far more likely to buy a heritage jersey if they know there won't be another one for a couple of years. Most importantly though, it acknowledges that the Wests Tigers have started building their own history that can also be honoured.

Advertising garbage bins is never going to be flattering for a jersey.

That being said, the Dragons have Jeep on the back of ours, so we are advertising actual garbage.
