It's nothing to do with money, the lack of international rugby league is what's going to cost them. Burgess is leaving to play in the Rugby Union World Cup, meanwhile most Aussies sit on their f**king backsides and ignore the international game and then wonder why blokes like Burgess and SBW want to play RU.

Rubbish, i can guarantee If there was a million$ contract on offer in rl neither of them would be going anywhere.

Doggies get a team near full strength and get pumped accordingly. Had no right being there. But the Panthers week 1 win over Roosters f**ked the whole thing up.

Congratulations to the Rabbits. Well deserved. Just wish a decent team faced them.

Dogs weren't worthy of being on the same field as the Bunnies. LOL@James Graham. You should be flattered by your '2nd place'. Really happy for all the Souffs fans I know who've been loyal for so long through the hard times. One of the most emotional wins, even though not a Souffs fan but not a hater either. No LOLS@Souffs tonight.

Well if you're right when he doesn't make the English union team - which he won't - I guess we'll see him back then.
He'll be in the English RU team before he's even played a single game at club level. He isn't leaving to play for Bath, nobody cares about club rugby in the UK, their crowds are shit, TV viewing figures are dwarfed by Super League despite them getting much more promotion, they also have a salary cap BTW that is no bigger than the NRL. Burgess is leaving to play in the RU World Cup next year, same goes for SBW and this will continue to happen as long as Australia continues to sit back in its own little Origin-dickriding world and neglect the international game.

Roosters, Manly or Melbourne may have created a closer match but anyone who thinks any other side was going to win tonight is kidding themselves.

Well done Souffs

There was 74k at the last Rugby League World Cup final but sadly Sammy boy wasn't good enough to make the final and face the great Jarryd Hayne

Wouldn't know, in Melbourne at the moment they cut out at the end of Sutton's speech in favour of Big Brother

I'm not sure if this would have worked or not,but the online feed from Nine in sydney might have been a savior.

Keep this post for reference for next season.

In saying this, they are still doing the lap of honor.
