what the f**k is happening at the moment

Just when the game gets a 45% pay rise in TV rights

We start bending over to major sponsors for extra space

Brisbane are probably the only team who could stand up to NRMA and say f**k u

They are the original RL whores don't forget.

That Broncos jersey is the new "away" strip.
Won't get worn much anyway, and little kids will probably love it.

Personally, I think it's dogs balls.

their first 20 games will be friday night home games so you guy might see it twice all year whats the big drama?lol

Can't wait for Friday night football next year. The first game will feature the SBW Roosters and the second will feature the Brisbane Fridays. And on Sunday it will be Parra or souffs.

Yippee!

Accidentally posted new Broncs away jersey to here: http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showpost.php?p=9675053&postcount=861

Broncs' new away.

HIDEOUS!

I am hoping that NRMA is a mockup for this photoshoot and that the real thing integrates. If not, it just grates.

Well, I've seen pictures of the Dragons' 2014 home and away jerseys. Here is what I can remember-

Home (Red V)
  • Raglan sleeves
  • Red V same width, depth and angle as normal
  • Sponsor still cuts through V with "goatee" below
  • V continues up and over the shoulder, finishing at the back raglan seem
  • "ISC" branding on the V at the top of the shoulders
  • "Always" and "Momentum" sponsors on sleeves and back in black boxes
  • White collar with thin red piping
  • Red hemline
  • Red V looked a little disjointed at the front raglan seems; may have just been the picture

Away
  • Not the traditional Illawarra design
  • Red jersey with thick white horizontal stripe across the chest at badge height
  • Two thin white stripes; one above and one below the thick stripe.
  • Stripes interrupted by red where Dragons badge sits
  • Black collar

The maximum size for the main sponsor on the front of the jersey is 450 sq cm.

The Broncos and the Cowboys would be pushing that, surely?

If that is the case I'll be disappointed.

More than happy to reserve judgement until seeing it in the flesh. If done correctly it could be similar to the old Illawarra Steelers jersey with the hoops going across the chest.

Your description sounds a bit like one of Gazf's designs a while back except his bands were a touch lower.

Where is it stipulated the sponsor sizing?

Because if that cowboys logo does in fact break NRL guidelines, i would love to forward that fact on to the club and the NRL and try and get that abortion changed.

A guy I work with, his old man part owns one of the toyota dealerships in NQ, when I showed him the pic of the jersey Friday morning he had a good chuckle and even agreed that it was ridiculous how big the Toyota logo has gotten.

Surely they would be aware of that? As poorly run as we are. There is big money at stake here.

Also could it be that it's done for the launch only to gain sponsor exposure?

It is an abomination that's for sure.

Ive never heard of these sponsor size limits either.

I had a thought for Penriths new logo (bit late, i know)

Its just their first logo, simplified a bit. Cleaned up and the back ground redone with their current colours, personally this this is the best logo Penrith could have.

Not NRL related, but considering Ireland are playing Australia in the WC and both wear green, which team will be wearing the alternate jersey when the two teams play?
