Article says new jersey for 2014, since they're only one year in for both jerseys I'd expect them to keep them. Good to see them go with a local company though.

EDIT: I'd say the Storm will switch from the KooGa brand (same mob) this year too in that case.

The NZ coloured NRL Premiership logo looks awesome. Hopefully we'll see it on a second team's jersey soon.

You're right, they wouldn't still be wearing the red jersey with white armbands. They weren't wearing that jersey in the last few years of being a stand-alone club. But they definately wouldn't be wearing this new alternate strip, which it just a red jersey with one of St George's old butcher's stripes overlayed on one side with part of St George's red-v. It doesn't represent the Illawarra in any way.

I think it has some representation of an old Illawarra jersey. The horizontal stripes just higher up & no arm bands.

Haha What jersey are you looking at mate.. the only thing Illawarra about it is the majority red..
It's clearly a St George butcher stripe, placed way too high.

Probably one of the worst jerseys of the last five years and definitely the worst of trying to incorporate an old team..
Just do the 98 jersey ffs n keep it..

I'm pretty happy with what's on offer next year.

No doubt there will be a WIL, NSW Cup and 9's jersey to be released too. I'm hoping the green jersey will be the 9's one

The Illawarra 1998 jersey was ugly. I'm sorry but it was. Yes, it's a butchers stripe. But anyone that says the new Dragons alternate strip looks MORE like this:

Needs a psych assessment. Because even though it is a modern interpretation, and even though it has some elements that are a nod to old St George jerseys, the overall look, especially when they're out on the field, will be that it looks more like a jersey representing Illawarra than St George

Not 20's jerseys, just training singlet. The fading striped vees one is the 20's jersey. Much simpler actually.
