Looks like the Titans are moving to BLK from adidas next year.

http://blksport.com/news/titans-blk-unite/

Article says new jersey for 2014, since they're only one year in for both jerseys I'd expect them to keep them. Good to see them go with a local company though.

EDIT: I'd say the Storm will switch from the KooGa brand (same mob) this year too in that case.

All Kooga branded sides moving to BLK, making them the same globally. But why switch to BLK when Kooga is such a better name?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I think KooGa have several branches with different names ... which is strange because they all make sports kits, ect.
KooGa is a much better and more easily recognisable.

That's my thoughts anyway.

I think the big problem for the warriors is the fact they came in to the competition around the super league war... Do they don't have a definitive jersey as such.

I agree with the blokes on here who mentioned the easts jersey...

Hopefully when/if Wellington gets a team they can give the warriors a perminant navy blue and white jersey and the other team can have black and gold.

I'd have this as the basic jersey for Wellington

And this as the basic jersey for the warriors

All Kooga branded sides moving to BLK, making them the same globally. But why switch to BLK when Kooga is such a better name?

This explains the change;

Mr Brant said that people would have noted a change on the brand logo on Digicel Sevens and Flying Fijians rugby jerseys.

?The Fijian people would have seen the seven?s team wearing the garment with seviin on it while the Flying Fijians wearing a garment which has BLK on it. This has caused a lot of confusion in the marketplace regarding this. We got asked thousands of times as to what is going on.

?The Brant family owns KooGa in Australia. However, we don?t own the KooGa brand for the Northern Hemisphere."

?We were building the brand for them in England and they were not doing anything. So, we thought to buy the brand for our regions."

?There were seven teams in the World Cup who wore KooGa and all from us, none from the Northern Hemisphere."

?We were doing all the work but they were benefiting from it. On their website, they had all our teams on it and we could not do anything about it."

?All these guys were buying products and paid us royalties but we were hardly getting anything in return. KooGa England did not allow us to distribute it ourselves."

?So we decided to launch seviin by KooGa Australia and BLK by KooGa Australia. Everything else is the same and the quality is the best around but that is the only difference,? he said.

seriously how many variations can you make of a red v and horizontal stripes for a SGI jersey?

the new red one screams illawarra to anyone except an absolutely anal saints fan. Besides like a few have said, I'm sure in the last 15 years that if the steelers still existed theywould have used a simple butcher's stripe element at some stage. I prefer the photoshopped version with the red v turned into a vert stripe.

Penrith:
New away looks great. I love the pink panthers as a marketing tool. It also works great with their sponsor. They can complete the sponsor/history integration by simply doing a chocolate soldiers/chocolate milk heritage strip and use some kind of licquorice all sorts variant as a throwback/alternate/4th jersey if they like. I personally hope they keep oak and the two become synonymous with each other.

Warriors:
For farks sake you've used a million colours over the years yet your best were the original. I wish they would just stick with:
one black jersey with either the white trim or with blue/green/red trim;
one white jersey with the blue/green/red trim (ala 1995-1997)
one blue jersey with white/green/red trim (ala 1995-1997)
one alternate/heritage/regional design like the wellington one this year.
the warriors could have 3 or 4 absolutely brilliant jerseys that were all distinctly warriors if they'd just sort their sh!t out.

:?

They've had the same home and away jerseys for three seasons now and look pretty committed to the black white and red colour scheme. The heritage jersey is a direct 20-season homage to the 1995 strip.

I thought 'One solutions' was going to remain Cronulla's major sponsor but that's clearly not the case.

Does this mean the Sharks will start yet another season off without a major sponsor?

Why didn't cowboys pull their head in and do something for their 20th season and bring out a good jersey...
