imo the most disappointing numbers are the broncos!

really a one team town who has just flogged the 2012 dally m, and milford for 2015 you would expect them to be able to crack 30k.

Also they have Sammy thaiday who won celebrity come dine with me. Quite a sophisticated bloke in the show as well, far more sophisticated then his fans.

I'm really disappointed at the knights numbers. Started with a bang and reached 11k, then slowed to a trickle. Took ages to get to 13k. Reckon most of it is down to Packer, Rogers and Tetevano dragging the club through the mud. At this point we'd be struggling to even reach last years numbers

Also prices have gone up. That definitely wouldn't have helped. Although you'd think that coming within one game of the grand final last year would've built up a fair amount of hype. Then again, bedsy is gone...

Guys, its still 2 months before a ball is kicked. Most numbers are real good for this time of year. I expect a big marketing campaign (like last year or hopefully even bigger) plus all that battle of the beaches and shit which is good for 500-1000 memberships. Then saints usually get around 1k or so after the season starts.

Membership numbers usually climb significantly between one month before and one month after season starts

We're still some way off the actual seasons numbers

I expect Newcastle to exceed 15,000 and will probably get much closer to 20,000 than that. My guess is 17,500

That's potentially half the comp with membership bases of 20k or more in 2014 compare to only 2 last year.

Well that's ridiculous. I live in Kakadu and support the Dragons. I always buy a membership. It's not about value; it's about supporting your club.
